I had a blast!

I cosplayed as human Ammy from Okami on Friday. I was the only Ammy who had a sword at AB (it was Thunder Edge), so if you saw someone in white with ears, red makeup, and a yellow/red sword, it was me. XD

On Saturday, I went as good, old Naruto because I was lazy. I also brought all three of my ball-jointed dolls with me, so I didn't want to have anything else to carry.



It was fantastic, except for this little bit. This happened yesterday...

There were five home-made, resin, 1/3 BJDs up for auction in Artist Alley yesterday. Three other girls and I were waiting for the auction to end (it ended at 5pm), and we were all under the impression that the highest bidder on Saturday would win the dolls and get to take them home that day. I was one of those high bidders. The money made from these dolls is going to Multiple Sclerosis research, which is a very good cause. The auction guy even told us that the dolls were a separate auction from the other items.

However, the doll artist's rep comes up and tells us that the dolls are going to be up for auction again today. Balls. I wasn't going to AB on Sunday. >_>
We were immensely depressed about that fact. While the money is going to a great cause, there could have been a bit more clarification about it. As it turned out, I believe the dolls were part of the main auction after all. XP

I did not receive a phone call today, so it seems like I did not win one. Great. ):

I hope the other girls who bid on them won. None of them had a BJD yet, whereas I have Shiwoo, Yukio, and Ashe. I'm a bit disappointed, but I hope the five dolls ended up in good homes.
